The guide “Ports and Coves of the Costa Brava”<\/strong> was presented at the D\u00fcsseldorf Boat Show<\/a>, jointly prepared by the Girona Tourist Board<\/a>, the Catalan Association of Marinas and Tourism of Catalonia<\/a> (ACPET) and Ports de la Generalitat<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The guide presents the Catalan coastline from north to south and organizes it in three different areas: north (from Portbou to l’Escala), center (from l’Estartit to Palam\u00f3s) and south (from Platja d’Aro to Blanes), while describing the magnificent natural spaces of the coast and its ports of reference, and the complementary tourist offer of the demarcation of Girona. Highlight that this is the first publication to be made under the gaze of the nautical tourist; that is, discovering the Costa Brava coastline from the sea.<\/p>\n

Catalan ports have been working for some time on the energy transition and mitigation of the effects of climate change. In this sense, the guide contains a series of recommendations on responsible navigation.<\/p>\n

The presentation<\/h3>\n

D\u00fcsseldorf has been chosen as this is the most important nautical sector fair in Europe and one of the largest in the world in terms of number of exhibitors, occupied area and number of visitors. The event was opened by Montserrat Sierra, director for Central Europe of the Catalan Tourism Agency, followed by the presentation of the content of the guide by Dunia Coromina of the Costa Brava-Girona Tourist Board. Raimon Roca, vice-president of ACPET, closed the event together with Marta Dom\u00e8nech, general director of the Department of Tourism of the Generalitat de Catalunya.<\/p>\n

The Office of the Catalan Tourism Agency in Germany has led the call for the specialized German press.<\/p>\n

The Catalan ports are currently working on defining a set of recommended itineraries that will complete the aforementioned guide in order to also structure the tourist offer.
