A new and successful 7th edition of the Summer Fishing School closes. 38 boys and girls between 7 and 17 years old have participated in this three-day course taught by the Maritime Fishing Sports Association of Sant Feliu de Guíxols with the support of the Sant Feliu Yacht Club.
The course
The objective of this activity is that they can enjoy the sea while learning to fish, to differentiate the species of our coast and to respect the marine environment. The first two days were more didactic. They were able to catch and return the fish they caught to the sea and then, once at the Yacht Club, the characteristics, minimum sizes and singularities of each species were explained.
On the third day there was a small boat contest and the participants were able to take a medal and the fish they had caught to eat.
