Knowing the main seafaring knots is essential for any sailor.
For this reason, the commodore of the Sant Feliu de Guíxols Yacht Club Antoni Sabaté gave a knot workshop on Saturday, July 23. The news and girls gathered on the esplanade of the Sailing School were able to learn zeros such as the margarita, the guiding ace or the flat knot.
At the end of the activity, all the participants were able to take home a painting with the knots learned as a souvenir.
Other children’s activities
The Yacht Club organizes other children’s activities this summer, such as an environmental awareness day, the Children’s Fishing Contest or the Treasure Hunt of Cala Vigatà.
