The IX Guíxols Cup returns this weekend to the Club Nàutic Sant Feliu de Guíxols with the Europa and 420 classes, after its premiere on January 13 and 14 with the ILCA categories. Forty athletes, 8 couples in 420 and 24 sailors in Europe are expected to participate.
The race
The regatta will begin on Saturday, February 3 at 10:30 a.m. with the meeting of technicians and will be at 12:00 when the signal of attention of the first test is given. The second day will be Sunday 4 from 11:00 and the awards ceremony is scheduled around 17:00.
6 tests are scheduled, 3 each day. The regatta will be valid with a single race. The format will be fleet navigation and the route will be in the Wind 12/02.
The Guíxols Cup 2024 is sponsored by Escola Nàutica Mediñà, Fast Mast, Imnasa and Helena Jornet Finques and has the support of the Catalan Sailing Federation, the Diputació de Girona and the City Council of Sant Feliu de Guíxols.
