The Yacht Club Sant Feliu de Guíxols has collaborated once again with the Master of Emergencies and Emergencies of the University of Girona, becoming the main partner of the nautical exercises of this training, which is aimed at university graduates in medicine and nursing, to give them tools to respond in situations of urgency, emergencies and catastrophes in the different areas of care. Our member and speaker of the board Pere Rimbau is one of the main people in charge of this formation.
Rescue, towing and water treatment techniques
During the activity, issues such as rescue techniques, towing and treatment in the water, or new innovative materials for aquatic rescue are taught.
In addition to the Yacht Club Sant Feliu de Guíxols, the Piscis Diving, the Mediñà Nautical School, the Fire Brigade and the Palamós Hospital also collaborated in this master training.
