Sant Feliu de Guíxols
Sant Feliu de Guíxols is an Empordà city located in the heart of the Costa Brava, which, thanks to its mild climate, is surrounded by a landscape full of contrasts. Highlights include its coastline of cliffs and small coves and beaches, walks along the beach or the coastal path, and the natural areas that surround it, such as the Gavarres or the Ardenya massif.
The city
The city is an old fishing village that preserves an important historical heritage. Its maximum exponent is the Benedictine monastery and its oldest part, the Romanesque Porta Ferrada. With a broad commercial and gastronomic offer and activity all year round, Sant Feliu de Guíxols is undoubtedly a cosy town to explore.

Golf
The Costa Brava is a main reference in terms of golf tourism at an international level.
The territory has excellent facilities for the practice of this sport, in addition to several hotels and services next to the fields to offer a luxury experience to visitors. Very close to the Yacht Club of Sant Feliu de Guíxols and just half an hour away, there are several golf courses of ten.
Best known
Among the best known are the Aro-Mas Nou Golf Club (Platja d’Aro), the Costa Brava Golf Club (Santa Cristina d’Aro), the Golf Platja de Pals (Pals) and the Golf Girona (Girona). Beyond the Girona region, 100 kilometers from Sant Feliu de Guíxols, is the Barcelona Golf Club.

Bike routes
The “greenways” are one of the great attractions of Sant Feliu de Guíxols for lovers of sport and cycling. The city is the end point of the Carrilet Route, which covers 39.7 kilometers and links with Girona by following the old railway track.
With winding lines and the combination of nature and urban sections, the route allows you to enjoy such extraordinary elements as the Pyrenees, Montseny, Ridaura, Gavarres or the coast of Sant Feliu de Guíxols.
The Carrilet II Route Girona – Sant Feliu de Guíxols
The Carrilet Route has a route of 39.7 km, with a gentle slope from Girona to Sant Feliu de Guíxols (15 m), and reaches the highest point in Cassà de la Selva (136 m). Following the route of the old narrow track train Girona-Sant Feliu, it allows you to know two regions – Gironès and Baix Empordà – from the Ter basin to the Ridaura valley, passing through the Depression of La Selva. Hiking
For hiking enthusiasts, we are very close to les Gavarres Natural Park, where numerous signposted trails await you to enjoy the local flora and fauna.
If you prefer sea views, we have the “camins de ronda” – a coastal path that runs between Sant Feliu de Guíxols and S’Agaró (with access from the port) and several others along the Costa Brava, just a few kilometers away. The coastal paths will show you the green of the pine trees, the blue of the sea and the yellow of the beaches of the coves that you will find along the way. Here are some proposals:

Looking for more activities? Apart from golf, cycling or hiking, at the Yacht Club and in its direct surroundings you can practice endless water sports. If you do not yet have your own equipment or want to learn, you will find sailing courses, windsurfing and kayaking courses, as well as rentals of different water sports equipment at the club.
