Sant Feliu de Guíxols
Sant Feliu de Guíxols is an Empordà city located in the heart of the Costa Brava, which, thanks to its mild climate, is surrounded by a landscape full of contrasts. Highlights include its coastline of cliffs and small coves and beaches, walks along the beach or the coastal path, and the natural areas that surround it, such as the Gavarres or the Ardenya massif.
The city is an old fishing village that preserves an important historical heritage. Its maximum exponent is the Benedictine monastery and its oldest part, the Romanesque Porta Ferrada. With a broad commercial and gastronomic offer and activity all year round, Sant Feliu de Guíxols is undoubtedly a cosy town to explore.
During your stay in the port, we recommend you visit or experience some of its charms, such as:
- The traditional weekly market (Sundays)
- The Benedictine Monastery and its Porta Ferrada
- Carmen Thyssen Museum
- The Hermitage of Sant Elm
- The Beach of Sant Pol
- Some of its famous coves
- The beach promenade
- La Pedralta, the largest swinging stone in Europe
- The Via Ferrada in Sant Feliu (for the climbers)
