The Club Nàutic Sant Feliu de Guíxols kicks off this Saturday and Sunday the IX Guíxols Cup. The N2 regatta will debut with sixty athletes participating in the ILCA 4, ILCA 6 and ILCA 7 classes.
As usual, the competition will be divided into three weekends in order to maintain the quality of the regatta and the level of satisfaction of the participants, which highlight the personal and close treatment. The next round will be on February 3 and 4 with Europe and 420 classes.
The race
The regatta will begin on Saturday, January 13 at 10:30 a.m. with the meeting of technicians and it will be at 12:00 when the signal of attention of the first test is given. The second day will be Sunday 14 from 11:00 a.m. and the awards ceremony is scheduled around 5:00 p.m.
It is planned that there will be three tests each day with the possibility of navigating an extra one. The regatta will be valid with a single race.
The format will be fleet navigation for each of the classes and the route will be trapezoidal in the wind 12/02.

The Guíxols Cup 2024 is sponsored by Escola Nàutica Mediñà, Fast Mast, Imnasa and Helena Jornet Finques and has the support of the Catalan Sailing Federation, the Diputació de Girona and the City Council of Sant Feliu de Guíxols.
